It all started with 2 Angus calves in the summer of 2011. What was initially a plan for raising beef for just our family quickly became raising beef for our community. We have learned so much about the differences between grain fed vs grass fed and grain finished vs grass finished. This particular breed also helps dictate the quality of your beef, so we raise Angus as it is best known for its spectacular taste and consistent marbling. It is rewarding to educate new customers on the differences in the health benefits alone, never mind the satisfaction it provides watching our herd grow as they are raised organically. All of our land is certified organic, and we use a local USDA certified facility for our processing. You will find the individual cuts are sealed in Cryovac packages for ultimate freshness.
